I am a first grade teacher. My students loved these jokes. I often use jokes as an incentive (if you can pack up in ___ minutes, I will tell you 2 jokes....). There are TONS of jokes in this book and they all seem very appropriate for kids. There were several that my 1st graders were able to understand but also some that they didn't get that would be for older kids. This didn't seem like a negative to me, I think this book is a good joke book for different aged kids because there were jokes that everyone could enjoy.
