Oh, my goodness! When you first open the package, take a whiff. It smells exactly like excellent cocoa butter should smell, which is like CHOCOLATE. Like the lightest, sweetest chocolate cake just as it's ready to come out of the oven. Heavenly! then take out a single wafer. Nibble off a tiny bite. It's pure fat, so I'm not suggesting you get a nice bite, just enough to melt on your tongue. It melts quickly and smoothly, like cold dairy butter in your mouth. It isn't at all sweet, because it isn't adulterated with any sweetener, but the taste hints of chocolate. This is the stuff real "white chocolate" was made of, before "white flavored baking bits". But I digress... Now take that same little wafer, and rub some on your lips. Feel how it melts so amazingly, filling in all the little lines that make you look old. Not you, I mean. Just me. I'm the one who looks old. Either way, this can be used as a wonderful lip balm straight out of the bag! Melt it and pour into an empty lip balm container, and you don't have to do anything more. Sure, you could add some essential oils, or make up a recipe, but this is gorgeous on its own. After that, choose any dry spot. Elbows, knees, feet, hands. Take your wafer and rub it right on. You'll see why coca butter is such a popular ingredient in moisturizers, and it's so nice without all the additives. I ordered mine to make lip balm, with a recipe that includes coconut oil and carrot seed oil. But I'm definitely going to make more that are straight cocoa butter now!
