Yea - I took a PICTURE of my toilet....for YOU
I skimmed through other reviews trying to decide how I can help add anything that hasn't been mentioned. So, my personal story. My family of 4 - 2 adults & 2 teen boys share one bathroom. I know. Terrible. I won't turn down donations for a 2nd bathroom to be installed. Hubby had to have back surgery & I heard the biggest issue to contend with after this type of surgery is cleaning oneself. Onto amazon and the search to figure out what to do to get prepared for the CRAP after surgery. <tiny pun>. In all my searching I narrowed the ideas down to a bidet (this bidet was recommended by my brother who has one & loves it). I personally don't care for it. I really think it is psychological but I don't want to clean that area and all the parts surrounding it with water from ....well the TOILET. Yes, I know the water is clean. It's coming through a nice fresh connection...BUT When I clean the toilet I noticed it does get a little scuzzy. It has a self clean feature but lets face it - how CLEAN are you when you don't use SOAP? So for the sake of the men and the bums that use the bidet I spray it with bleach now and again. I wish the self clean feature self cleaned with bleach but everything can't be about ME. The guys - they LOVE it! It truly helped my husband when things were precariously out of reach after back surgery and the 13 year old has embraced it and adores it. He says he feels clean and fresh. Sometimes I think he uses it even when he has no "business". That may be another story. I think it's an easy way out of shower time. "But Mom I AM clean." Pick your battles I say. ANYWAY - the company ships crazy fast and seem to be customer oriented, concerned and friendly. Let me say I would surely use it myself if it was on my own personal toilet.
