I've worked for 3 different pest control companies. This is the only product I endorse for general maintenance of pests. However, you must apply it according to the manufacturer's recommendations. The main thing is to think "perimeter". Apply it a way that they must cross the product at some point. Floor edges, wall corners up to the ceiling, window sashes, all plumbing stubouts. Yes, it kills most insects. Spiders, scorpions too. German roaches as well but depending on infestation you may also need an IGR growth regulator along with it. It kills and too. But ants are quick to notice something is wrong and will protect the remaining queen potential and run. For them I recommend Termidor. And you may find some bad reviews on this product. Not many but some...I can tell you their bad experience is due to improper mixing or application. This is not a product that going to kill right away unless it was still wet. It works over time. Apply it correctly and wait 2 weeks. Reapply if needed. The quick knockdown killing some people expect with other products is really not that beneficial. You'll kill the ones in immediate contact but those products just drive the rest of them away for awhile but they will return soon. This product is not designed that way.
