I was skeptical at first when I ordered this product, thinking it would be too light-duty for what I wanted to do. I wanted to hang welding curtains in my work shop. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that this product did the job very well. There are a couple pointers I want to provide: 1 - Install this product correctly. I used a 7/32" bit to drill the holes for the plastic drywall anchors. This was the right size so the anchors could be lightly tapped into the drywall. DO NOT just drill a small pilot hole and pound the anchors into the ceiling. You will bust out the back of the drywall and your installation will be weak. 2 - Have patience when straightening the track. The track must be shipped as a coiled unit, and it has at thin metal bar embedded inside it. So you are not only straightening the plastic; you are also straightening the metal. It was 100F degrees when I straightened the track, so I think the heat helped me. Also I pulled the track around a 5-gallon bucket. That was a nice radius to help get it straight. Took me about 1-hour total to straighten 10 meters of track. Conclusion -- Great product for the money. I did not want to spend hundreds $ on commercial ceiling track. The welding curtains weigh 18 pounds total. When the curtains are stowed on one end of the track, all 18 pounds are hanging on two ceiling support brackets--(they handle it no problem).
