I recently purchased a Hamilton Beach 8 slice toaster oven for xmas. It was huge, too big to toast, so I thought I'd give the rotiserie a try. After about an hour the upper element shorted out causing arc pops and flashes that alerted me on the other side of the house. After that dangerous incident I spent three months researching ovens befor finally buying a Black and Decker TO1675. Why B&D? Because the Cuisinart 300 steam was too small and expensive, the Breville too expensive, and most other brands had digital controls (built in failure). Although I didn't trust the B&D brand (really cheap power tools) I nevertheless was very curious about the enclosed spiral heating element design. The 1675 was great for toasting but too small to cook a small chicken or much else. I returned it and bought the TO3210. Perfect, it can toast, convection cook a chicken, bread, squash, meatballs and tater tots. The layout of the control knobs is intuitive, they are accurate and analog. This is the smallest footprint of any 6 slice, 12" pan oven I have seen. It's relatively cheap, works well, does what I need and looks nice. I highly recommend this product.
