Appears to be well made, works as described and reasonably easy to operate at a very moderate price. The 5" screen is great for reviewing and adjusting the lighting or color of the slide if necessary. Note that it does not operate on an electric wall outlet. It operates off of one of your computer's USB outlets. A second outlet is required to down load the pictures, however I removed the SD card and put it in my desk top computer's chip outlet as I do when transferring pictures from my camera. It worked fine and the pictures looked great on the computer's large screen. I will be digitizing approximately 2000 35mm slides. Very pleased with the unit.
