I've tried Mossimo and Sanuk sling shoes. I've FINALLY found a sling shoe that is perfect with Sketchers. This is what Sketchers is NOT: First, the material is NOT made out of t-shirt material that makes a double-stranded wad between the toes, rubbing them raw. It's made out of a swimsuit-like material. This makes it so soft between the toes, and it's only a SINGLE strand between the toes so I can't feel it's there. It dries out super fast. It does NOT make a flip-flop noise when I walk. It wraps tight to my foot! Nobody hears me coming. It does NOT leave me flat-footed. With the slight heel, it's easier to walk and I feel like a woman, not a kid, yet casual for anything, and easy to dress up. It's almost 1/2 inch at the toes to about 3/4 inch at the heel. It does NOT have a slippery sole. Some others have a shiny, plastic-like coating on their cushion that made my feet slide from side to side forcing me to reposition my foot when I walk (and making my feet sweat -- ew). This sole has bounce backable cushion that wears well on the feet. And lastly I'm NOT a Sketchers fan, so I avoided this sling shoe for awhile, but I was tired of compromising with the other brands. So I swallowed my pride and tried Sketchers anyway...so glad I did!
