My boyfriend has hidradenitis suppurativa, which is boils around your lymph nodes: Arm pits, groin, inner thighs, under your butt cheek areas, etc. He gets them in his inner thighs, under his butt cheeks, his back, arm pits, sometimes his neck. That being said, he will now only wear this underwear. With his condition, most underwear has a tendency to stick to drying blood and if you sit down all day, as he does, when he does have to get up, he has to peel off his underwear from his sores, which doesn't allow them to heal whatsoever. These, however, don't stick. They allow his sores to heal properly and him not feel so self conscious.
