Here is why you buy these: (From Mom of: Toddler)
I almost didn't purchase these - but I am glad I did.
I was reading through the reviews on here, all the negative feedback about them breaking, how regular crayons were better and washed out just as well, etc... It almost scared me away, but I decided to purchase them anyway for my 18 month old.
Here is the only thing that ACTUALLY matters about these crayons: THEY DO NOT ROLL AWAY.
^ that is THE reason to get these if you have a toddler. Who cares of they break, toddlers will forcibly break everything just to test to see if they can. I have never seen a bucket of used regular crayons that wasn't broken to bits. It happens over time. (And, I didn't notice any tips breaking off as mentioned in other reviews I read before purchasing these.)
The one thing that WILL irritate you, if you have a toddler learning to draw with crayons.. is when they DUMP the whole container out on your kitchen table and they all roll off onto the floor. Guess who gets to bend down and pick them up off the floor? Mommy.
