Lots of research paid of on this stable, simple, and handsome standard size computer desk, $38. So far, about 200 hours of use from an easy chair. Here are some plusses, minuses, and comments: Good: Good welding and paint job. Sturdy desktop - post is attached to the middle of the top. Sturdy stand made of appropriate gauge metal. Simple construction: not much to go wrong and easy quick setup (20 minutes) All tools needed are provided (disposable little wrench too) Center of gravity is in the right place. Minimum and maximum height covers any normal height seating. One reviewer states 20.5 - 31 inches. Base including wheels is 3 inches high. Plenty of room for 14" wide laptop and mouse. With effort, can get laptop, mouse, external keyboard, fan, and navigator mouse on table. Tough. Shortcomings: (not faults) Instructions weak, but adequate if you take time to work it out. Surface area great for computer and mouse, but not much more. Not designed for a bed due to center post, but could work if sitting up. Can be used without wheels if desired (not sure why you would) Might be a little hard to roll on a thick rug, but that comes with the low clearance of 3 inches. Not hard to lift a little to help move.
