Finally, a probiotic that works.
I have tried a number of probiotic supplements over the last 20 years. Some of them were far more expensive than PRO-15. They made little or no difference in the way I felt in my gut or overall.
When I was a kid I was put on various antibiotics for years as a treatment for a recurring infection I picked up overseas (no, not an STD). So, although the infection was eventually cured, the beneficial bacteria in my gut (I found out much later) were pretty much wiped out. I have suffered from what I thought was IBS for my entire adult life. In my 40s I read about probiotics and the logic seemed sound, so I started trying various brands. None of them really helped. Neither did yogurt or kimchee. Now I know why. Other probiotics come in capsules that break down in the stomach where the friendly bacteria are mostly destroyed by stomach acid. So you pay for a lot of nice probiotics that never get to where you want them to go - a real waste of money.
PRO-15 comes in a little "pearl" that survives the trip through the stomach fairly intact and breaks down gradually as it travels through the small- and large intestines, releasing many different strains of probiotic along the way. The results are amazing.
I am at the end of my first bottle and was here to order another when I decided to write this review. My "IBS" symptoms (cramps, gas, alternating constipation/diarrhea) are mostly gone and my energy levels are up sharply. I even sleep better. I can only assume that the effects will deepen over time. I guess the energy thing has to do with better absorption of nutrients with the help of my newly acquired little gut buddies. My BMs (sorry) as of the last 2 weeks are completely different as well. They are, well, normal. The antibiotic damage sustained in my youth is being healed and my body is getting back to where it should be.
I highly recommend PRO-15. Finally, a probiotic that works.
BTW, during the warm weather, I keep the bottle in the fridge to ensure continued viability of the bacteria all the way 'til the end of the bottle.
