Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

Wow--2 of the 5 reviews so far give 1 star and are from people who admit in the review that they didn't read the book. In fact they won't read the book because another review says that a pet was shot. I believe the main storyline of the book kicks off with a human being being murdered. So it would appear that there are multiple creatures who are fictionally harmed in this book. If you don't want to read books that contain that, you probably shouldn't be reading any thrillers, including this one. OK--now is when I confess that I didn't read this book either. But I feel like the author at least deserves to have the non-reader ratings balanced out a little. For those that got past the star rating, I'd recommend you focus on the reviews from people who actually read the book. (And yes--I get the irony that I'm telling you to ignore mine :-)
