I am very happy with theese boots for the price- they are lightweight and waterproof, I walked through a few inches of water in these and didn't get wet, however, they are slippery when wet, walking on wet rocks and such is treacherous! They look good, but they could use more support and cushioning inside; after a 5 mile rocky hike across the Cloudland Canyon west rim, my feet were definately hurting- and I hike a lot! So I would say for short hikes these are great, for longer or daily hiking I would go ahead and invest the $120 on a pair of Keens, Teva's, or Merrels. Good luck! Fit is slightly large but go with your regular size, toe box is roomy but if you size down shoes will be too short, so get thick hiking specific socks for sure!
