I am not an EMT nor do I have medical training. Speaking strictly as a former boy scout with basic first aid certification I feel this kit would be helpful in administering first aid for reduction of bleeding and stabilization of wounds until help from trained medical personnel arrives. The amount of serious trauma oriented materials in here will go well beyond your standard household emergency, but the price is very reasonable so why not have a kit like this ready? I would like to see an inventory included with the kit but I could not find one, so I made my own table of contents by pouch.
