I love Alkalol. When I tell people I do sinus rinses with Alkalol, they recoil in horror and exclaim, "You shoot alcohol up your nose?!?" To which I usually reply, "A snifter of brandy really loosens up the schnoz holes. In fact... no, you insufferable idiot. I said AL-KA-LOL." I started timidly with Alkalol, mixing only a couple teaspoons with water because I feared its full potency. And it's potent, my child. It's potent as all get-out. But I quickly graduated to using this stuff straight and, much like John Cougar Mellencamp taught us, it hurts so good. Okay, it doesn't really hurt. It tingles a bit. It's like your nose holes were chewing on a piece of wintergreen gum for a couple minutes. Or like Elsa from Frozen gave you mouth-to-nose resuscitation. I love the feeling. I'm addicted to it. And the results. My nasal passage always feels insanely fresh and clear after a mighty Alkalol rinse. It truly dissolves mucus that a mere saline rinse cannot. I breathe easier. I feel healthier. I smile more. My off-gassing even smells like springtime flowers now. Ok, I lied. I don't smile more.
