I am absolutely in love with this machine! I have had a Singer Curvy for basic sewing for the last 8 years, but I wanted to upgrade to a quilting machine. After much research, I chose the Juki as it had great reviews, and is sturdy enough to be able to sew canvas which I will need in the future. It has NOT disappointed! It is a very sturdy build (which means it does have some weight) which makes for incredibly smooth sewing. I'm used to a machine that vibrates so much my entire workspace bounces. My table stays completely still. Setup was very simple when following the instructions, and it was fun to find all of the little "perks" this machine has that I didn't know exist. Every issue that I have had with my Juki has been due to user error, and the one time I was SURE it wasn't me, I contacted Juki support and had a technician solve my problem within hours of emailing. (Hint, the problem was me.) So I now have a very sturdy, high quality machine, and great customer service and support to back it up. Worth EVERY penny!
