ATTN: Curly hair heads...Just as good as FHI heat
First let me give you some information about my hair and my hair routine to give you a better understanding when considering this product for you. I am a 44 yr old Puerto Rican and Irish woman with type 3b curly hair. I generally blow out my hair on average once a week and only sport the straight look. I only use boars hair brushes and I section my hair with rollers when blowing it out and I take each one out one at a time to blow out my curls. I use chi keratin mist and Keihls heat-protectant silk straightening cream. This process takes me about an hour and a half. I am very cautious of what I put on my hair. Deep conditioning is a weekly event and as far as coloring well I have come to love Clairol professionals beautiful collection moisture color, which I use once every month or two. I figured I would share this with you so you could get a better understanding of what type of hair that this review is based off of.
Now that said... I have always purchased the FHI heat Platform Nano salon Pro 2000 blow dryers for the past 8 years. The model has changed through out the years but they are pretty much the same. I was and still am happy with this line.
This time I needed a blow dryer fast since I broke the one I had, but wasn't in a place to shell out $130 for a luxury item. After searching through Amazons listing of Blow dryers the Rusk W8less professional lightweight ceramic tourmaline hair dryer stuck out to me by the amount positive reviews and the specs I wanted.
This dryer is light weight and holds up to the amount time of being continuously ran when drying my hair. It isn't that loud but loud enough to where I have to turn volume up on TV when drying my hair. I found that my hair was smooth and shiny. I have added before and after photos. I found this dryer to be just as good as the FHI heat hair dryer and would highly recommend it for any one looking for a higher end hair dryer but looking to keep the price reasonable.
