Easy solution to leaking problem!
We, too, had massive leaking problems the first time we used this. Then, in trying repeatedly to get the lid screwed in and not leaking, we stumbled across the secret! Put the lid on, the slowly turn it to the LEFT first. You will hear a click and feel the lid drop down and seat itself. Then turn it to the right as you normally would to close it. Voila! ZERO leaking! Would have been nice to have some instructions to let you know to do this, but now you know. The lack of instructions is the only reason I gave this four instead of five stars.
