I can't believe all the people giving this item bad reviews for not understanding the product. I've included some pictures to help with my explanation. First, this item is intended to be used with this ... Eclipse 902-321 Stainless Steel Cable Tie Tool, or an equivalent. Personally I didn't want to spend that much or more, so I found an alternative online. I found a long pair of needle nose pliers worked to secure my heat wrap on my exhaust. Cut excess to around 1", grab the very end and twist it under to tighten. This may take a few attempts to get it right, it worked adequately for me. Hope this helps. It's unfortunate this product is getting poor reviews by people not understanding how it works.
