Almost perfect.
I got this cup because my 52oz Circle K styrofoam insulated polar pop cup fell off my tool cart at work and broke. I found this one on Amazon and got the stainless steel version. I have no regrets. The cup is almost perfect. The first thing I noticed when I got it is that it was smaller than I expected. No problem though, just as long as it holds 50oz. It's vacuum insulated, so it keeps drinks cold for a while. I'm not sure about the 36 HR claim, but I had some ice water in it overnight, and when I woke up, the ice was gone, but the water was still ice cold! In all honesty though, how long should it take you to drink 50oz anyway? 3, maybe 4 hrs max? The straw is retained on the lid when opening by a ring installed on the straw, so you don't loose it. I'm not too thrilled about the "reduce" logo. I'm not an environmentalist. All I want is a product that works. I don't care how it's made. I did some searching around, and found a perfect size bumper sticker that will cover the logo, and then some! Problem solved! There are only 2 things I think would improve this cup. First, when I drank out of it the first time, I immediately noticed I had to pick up the straw a bit, otherwise It would suck the bottom of the cup, and I would get no soda. I solved this myself by using a dremel tool to cut 2 notches in the bottom of the straw. PROBLEM SOLVED! The other improvement isnt so easy. I wish they would replace the straw retainer with a straw holster mounted on the cup. That way, if I'm traveling, I can remove the straw without having to open the lid, and store it on the cup. That would allow me to close the lid completely, preventing any spills. Other than that, it's a great cup, and I would recommend it to anyone.
