This is my first time trying this. My first notice is, it’s way more convenient to apply than silk wraps, second, it feels really sturdy. It really feels like a life saver. The side of my thumb nail started ripping before it even grew out. I ordered this in a hurry knowing I would’ve had to cut it if I didn’t act fast. By the time I got it, it ripped even more and the nail was JUST BARELY growing out. The white line in my pic shows the breaking! Yes, you can see the grainy area of where the glue/powder was applied. Yes, it’s still slightly rough even w/ nail polish applied, but typically I’d paint more layers on and it would smooth itself out. The texture as it is, is hardly noticeable and not bothersome. Some tips for a smooth finish: 1 smooth swipe, 1 quick dip! Let layers dry completely in between, don’t be afraid to buff!* start w/ the dark pink side (coarse grit I believe), buff really fast for 6-8 sec at time how ever many times you feel comfortable, then buff the same way with the pink side (light grit). It’s gives it a pretty good finish. Anyway, thank you @Simplynailogical for leading me here and thank you Orly for having this product!
