I bought this case for the looks... I'm a girl its to be expected. However, On New Years day (1/1/19) I was outside talking to a friend, had put my phone down to adjust a Christmas decoration that had fallen over. This piece of decor bumped my phone off of the table I had set it on and because it was a windy day that day the phone went off the side of my 3rd floor apartment balcony. The phone itself is not damaged. The case suffered a few scuffs on the left side edges, but the case never came apart and my phone is still fully intact. Best $20 phone case I have ever bought. This brand has a customer for life.
