This is a lovely framed chalkboard I hung in my kitchen for my grandkids to draw on. Make sure you season any new chalkboard by laying a stick of chalk on its side and completely covering the board in chalk. Wipe with a damp rag, let dry, repeat. Otherwise, anything you write on the unseasoned surface will “burn” into the chalkboard and you will see dark ghost images of that forever.
