I got this lotion for my Labrador mix puppy since she has very sensitive, dry skin. She was scratching at herself almost constantly; Poor thing actually caused a few cuts in doing so. I applied this lotion to her after her bath when she was most the way dry but still a little damp. At first I thought I applied way too much and that I may have made her greasy, but after she dried, she had soft, smooth, skin and fur. She absorbed every drop of it and smelled so sweet, but even better, she has stopped scratching. I may not be able to attribute all of this to the lotion as I also purchased critter comforts anti itch shampoo, based on some other customer reviews, but I can tell you they make a perfect pair. My puppy is now happily healed with no more scratching or biting herself.
