For everyone who is complaining about the noise, there is a simple fix. We received ours and turned it on and it made the most obnoxious sound ever. I was so disappointed, thinking that we would have to return it. My husband decided to remove the back and look inside and sure enough, there was a long spinning piece that must have been jarred loose in transit. He stuck it back in and "Voila".....no more noise. We love it!
