Amended - Thank you so much for your generous offer. The sheets were excellent quality, the only issue was the smell was over bearing. I tried laundering them, hoping that would help, which it did, but the smell was still more then I could take. I kept them in the garage to air, again hoping the smell would diminish. Same result. Whatever the strong chemical (smelled like burning kerosene) was something I couldn’t bear, but my neighbor didn’t find it offensive, so it may have been just a sensitivity for us. I gifted them to them. Since the sheets were put to good use, no need for a refund. Again, I appreciate the offer. Original response - Package arrived today. Please let me know if I may make a return. The sheets are beautiful, soft and fit well, but they smell horrible. I laundered them hoping that would eliminate the odor - it did not. I left them in the bedroom with all 8 windows open and a fan on. They smell so, so bad I had to move them to the garage. If they can’t be returned, I will discard them, because they can’t be used.
