After reading up on card cases for the iphone 5 I narrowed it down and purchased three to try: this case, the Incipio Stowaway and the Speck SmartFlex. I liked this case the best of all! It is a lot better than the Stowaway, though a tough choice over the Smartflex. The case itself fits the iphone 5 great. All the buttons match up and the camera is not hindered at all. The only thing I really didn't prefer was the glossy finish (on both Incipio cases). The matt finish on the Smartflex looked better, but the feel of the Stashback is just fine. The case does provide as much protection as I need in a case without feeling too bulky (I even found a leather belt holster that works with this case). In fact the extra bulk makes your phone fit in your hand better, and most people think it's an extra battery case. The Stashback does just what it claims, it securely conceals 3 cards plus a folded up bill with easy access to your cards. The design does not feel flimsy and there is no play in the cover (which was the main problem with the Stowaway) The cards slide in and out quite easily as well. The reason I ended up picking this one over the Smartflex was because I don't like that your cards are viewable on the back of Smartflex, a little unprofessional if you have your phone sitting out. The balance of durability and fuctionality in the Stashback is pretty hard to improve on (and the glossy finish is easy to overlook as a minor thing). So if you want to be free of your wallet, I recommend the Incipio Stashback. You won't find a better credit card iphone 5 case! - UPDATE: I just tried a new CC case, the GT Leverage and it doesn't measure up to the Stashback either. The Leverage looked classy but after a few months the finish tarnished and the top button broke. So back to the good old Stashback... after 2 years this case is functioning as good as ever. The flap clicks back in place securely and the buttons all work great. I see they have some new colors options. Still wish they had a matte finish option, although for durability the glossy has worn just fine.
