As a strong believer in and proponent of harm reduction policy, I bought this mouth wash for a family member who is unfortunate enough to be deep in the throes of methamphetamine addiction, and was experiencing "meth mouth" associated decay and rotting. I saw on his mouth easily observable erosion of enamel and gums, development of fissures, dry mouth, yellowing and developing cavities. He said he really likes and doesn't want to lose his teeth, but he also really likes and doesn't want to lose meth either. Sounds like a tough choice, but I digress. I bought this product for him, and he reported relief of tooth sensitivity on first use (allowing him to complement with other oral hygiene products that would otherwise be too harsh, such as whitening products). Further, he's said that together with more vigilant attention to oral care, all of the issues he was experiencing have slowed considerably. He swears by this product and recommends it to friends. Not saying that you're looking to address problems of a similar origin, but if it helps with chemical decay from daily methamphetamine smoking, I'd guess it works for acids from your morning orange juice and whatnot.
