This cooling pad is exactly what I was looking for! The duel fans keep my laptop nice and vented, and I love the fact they have setting wheels on the back of the pad! You can control the speed of both sets of fans, and even turn them off if you don't want one of them on. They are also almost completely silent, as far as I can tell. You'll know if you accidentally press the plastic backing into the path of the blades because of the noise. The mesh surface is great for keeping things from falling into the blades but I have to be careful not to accidentally grab between the vent windows on the back - I've accidentally hit the fans a time or two, but no damage was done and it didn't hurt at all. I was also pleasantly surprised by the pop-up feet on the back of the pad's underside, as well as the slide guards on the top of the front - don't remember seeing those advertised and they're super handy! The pad is also lite but sturdy. My only regret is that there's no slip-guard rubber on the top of the pad. Since the mesh is metal, it's kind of slippery on a skinless laptop. I have to be careful of how much I angle the pad when I'm using it, or my laptop slides around a little. A small detail to note, but it's quite manageable. In the picture attached, the light might look purple but it's actually a very nice, bright blue. This light is only on when the fans are running, so if you turn them off or shut down your computer, the light goes off as well. The shipping time was also very quick; I got it actually a good few days before the estimated delivery date, so that was wonderful as I was really needing it asap. SO glad I picked this product, it's going to be a lifesaver for me and my laptop!
