This is one of the best cooling towels I have ever bought this is the best one ever. The first thing I noticed when taking it out of the resealable storage bag is how soft it is. Every other cooling towel I have bought feels hard and scratchy when dry. Most of them are really on the thick side also, much like chamois material. This one is extremely thin. If I'm trying to cool off the last thing I want on me is a thick towel. It is cloth like on one side and a mesh like material on the other side. The second thing I noticed is the large size. Mine measured at about 12" x 38". That big. Most cooling towels are about 18" x 12", which isn't very big. I like this one because it's large enough to wrap around your neck or up over your head. Most towels barely cover the back of your neck. And lastly, it works. Simply wet it with water, wring out, snap it a couple of times and it's cool. When it gets warm again just snap it a couple more times or rewet. We do a lot of obstacle course runs and being out in the sun takes its toll on me. Cooling towels are important to have in the dead of summer. This one is a godsend. It's small to pack and lightweight. When you're hiking or rucking the last thing you want to do is add extra weight. I recommend this to anyone who is looking for the best of a cooling towel. Never again will I be buying the ones at Five Below.
