I've been wearing this watch for 11 days now. It synced immediately with my iPhone 8. When I ran the Mi Fit iOS app, the firmware updates were downloaded and installed on the watch seamlessly. Be patient for the restart. I had a bit of a time to get it to re-sync to my bluetooth but it happened soon enough. Again, be patient. The Mi Fit iOS app has been updated since I first installed it. I was hoping for a consistent fix on the weather. I've read differing opinions on what the problem is with real-time temperature not showing. I get the current temp like once a day and then it disappears, only showing the day's forecast of hi/low temp. It doesn't bother me that much. I figured for $80, it's a minor issue. I purchased this watch mainly for quickly reading texts and app notifications. This thing is awesome for that! I have used the stopwatch, the countdown timer, and the alarm. The clock has never failed to switch on the backlight when I raise my arm to look at the time. It's also totally usable in sunlight. I don't run or hike so I haven't used the activity tracker nor the GPS. I've fixed on the GPS signal to verify that it works: and it does. I sync all of the data to my iPhone. The heart monitor seems to work well; I have it set to monitor every 10 minutes. As I type this, my battery is at 53% after 11 days. This thing is Amazing for $80! If I have to charge this watch only every 2-3 weeks, that's a big win in my book. I purchased this instead of an Apple Watch because: I wasn't sure how many of the Apple Watch features I would actually use for $300+; and I didn't want to have to worry about charging my device every night. The device also lets me not be too concerned about scratching it for the low price I paid. So far, there are no scratches but I am purposefully careful with my possessions. My son has since ordered one for himself.
