I know this is marketed for cold brew coffee, but I use it to make hot chai. A few modifications, like a koozy so I don't burn my hands, and a draining lid and I'm good to go. The filter is very fine and not as rigid as I'd hoped, but I still love it. I fill it about 1/4 to 1/3 full with my Monteray Bay loose chai tea and let it steep. The filter is large enough to let all of the flavor find its way through. A perfect, zippy jar of chai :)
