Very Durable, Affordable Indoor Trainer
I am 6'3" and 295 pounds. I use a Specialized Sport Road Bike on this trainer and it has been working phenomenally for the last month or so since it arrived. To make mounting the bike easier I replaced the Specialized rear wheel quick-release that came on the bike with a basic one with rounded ends to seat the bike better on the trainer. The original quick release had the lever on the left side of the bike and it made mounting the bike tricky if you couldn't figure out how to do it to keep the bike mounted. The bike has never fallen off, slipped during use, or experienced any problems whatsoever. As I said, I am almost 300 pounds and I use the trainer for my cardio workout indoors when I don't have time to hit the road. Don't waste your money on more expensive trainers if you are a recreational rider, this unit is perfect. Professional cyclists and the like may demand a hydraulic trainer or something of that sort. If you have a multi-speed bike you can simply mount it and adjust the tension to the hardest setting and simply shift gears as if riding outdoors to make riding easier or harder.
