I took my dog on vacation with me, and brought this K9 Sport Sack AIR with me to carry him around. I guess I wasn't quite thinking, because I was like, "oh it's just like a backpack"... well, you have to factor in how much your dog weighs too. It's very comfortable on the back, and fits well, with him in it. He is a 17lb Schnoodle. He had the best time in it! One thing I will say about the pack, is my back was sweating horribly in this. Between my body heat, and his... it seemed to get very hot for both of us. Also, the instructions say not to have the dog in it for more than an hour at a time, and I'm thinking that this is why. The worst thing about the bag is, if you are going somewhere, and you need to bring along your keys, or wallet, cell phone, or anything else with you, this bag DOES NOT have any extra storage, except for the side pockets for a water bottle, or treats. It would be nice to have an additional zipper pouch to bring in some smaller items. That seemed to be a BIG deal for me while I was on vacation, because I had to carry a purse, or god forbid, the retro fanny pack to store my things, while having him on my back.
