After 3 years of regular use this is still working just fine and doing what its suppose to do. Even tho its plastic, it has still managed to remain durable as well. The wear and tear will probably depend on the kind of paints (texture) you use and how often. Painting is bound to get messy. This is a great way to minimize some of it.
