Is this particular floor robot worth the purchase? Yes. Is it heads and tails above other robots? Maybe? What's nice these days, is that these sorts of vacuums are more accessible and reasonably priced. I don't need a 500 dollar one to roll around on our hard floors, mapping out the perfect locations through an app. I need some simplicity, and consistency on the daily runs. Coredy seems to be doing a good job so far, as I've only had it a few days. I also have a Eufy--that started to make a horrible noise once one of the gears in the brush started to go. Therefore I needed a replacement, and really, most of the qualities are roughly similar. However, the Coredy seems to have better suction power, and doesn't get stuck as often as the Eufy. Where the real difference is with the actual dust-bin, which doesn't require you to open the entire casing--and dump. The front side clicks open, which actually makes the entire process easier to empty (even if you have to get your hand in it a little). The remote has a nice dock, and the robot parks itself pretty easily--without too much assistance. The whole idea of the tape strips is a little inconvenient to block certain areas, but for my purposes, it's not a necessary feature. The robot also seems to have better suction as well--which is great for rugs and medium pile carpet. I don't know if it's placebo or not, but it SEEMS like it gets more dust into the actual bin over the Eufy IE not having to empty as much. Pros: Good construction Easy setup No frills, setting up the auto timer is simple Remote control dock (literally a spot for the remote, which is a nice QoL adjustment) Simplified dust bin, that can be emptied in smaller trashcans without spillage Relatively quiet (low power to max power solid) Cons: A bit dumb: requires tape strips to contain or block out areas Not 100% sure on the battery life/run-time--says 120 minutes, I don't think it quite lasts that long Maintenance (would say this for any vacuum robot...you have to clean these things consistently or they will deteriorate) 5 stars for doing exactly what it's supposed to do, for now!
