The M7 unit has a nice rounded look and there is only 1 indicator light on it. It can be in color Green and Red to indicate the status of it. It is very simple compare to the traditional router that has multiple light blinking and flashing. The setup is really easy. Just follow instruction provide. It is easy to set your own SSID, no need to connect the devise with Ethernet and type in IP address; just download the app, everything can be connected wirelessly and update firmware and setting via the app. I only get the 1-pack, so I didn't set up the mesh network. The internet speed that I got was awesome, I was able to get around 300 Mbps download speed and also 300 MBps upload speed with my Samsung Note 8 via Wifi with a wall in between and 30-ft away. I like the M7 has 2 Ethernet Port that I can connect my devices via ethernet, so I don't need to get additional Ethernet switch for it.
