I bought another rug from Safavieh (Safavieh Florida Shag Collection SG455-1113 Cream and Beige Shag Area Rug, 8-Feet by 10-Feet) back in October 2013 and it is probably my most favorite thing in my apartment. Because this rug had so many great reviews and because I have another rug by this company that is of the highest quality, I thought I would give this a try. I am NOT a big fan of Shag in general but the first rug wasnt like a typical shag rug so I thought why not. I will say that this rug is more of a shag (longer strings) than my Florida Shag rug but I actually don't mind it (and I don't want to deal with return it). It looks like it has great quality and it looks comfortable. Not like a typical shag. Attached are the photos of how it looks so you can see what I am talking about. All in all, I am very happy with this rug and don't think that opinion will change a year from now based on my prior experiences. If you need a rug that will last for a long time, get this one. You wont be disappointed.
