The description compares Deadly Wands to Harry Potter, but I disagree. There is magic and wands, but they aren't really similar beyond that. It is a good book though. Sort of silly the way it is written. It reminds me more of the Game of Thrones books than Harry Potter, in the tone of the writing. It doesn't take itself too seriously. Not afraid to curse or talk in a natural speaking voice. The actual plot is okay- still sort of silly, going through history but adding wands and battles with them, but it was a good read. Heed the warning, not for kids, but if you can take a little crudeness it was pretty good.
