I noticed there weren't many reviews from natural 4C hair women. I purchased this item thinking it was Jamaican black castor oil, that was my mistake. I was looking for an all natural product (sky organics is amazing btw). I did my research and found out the only difference between black castor And castor oil is how its made. For black castor oil the oil is extracted using heat, and for castor oil it is extracted cold pressed. So its basically just based on preference, some believe the ash from the black castor oil has properties to help the oil penetrate the hair shaft. However honestly, like I said its based on preference. So on the bottle the directions say to apply it and then wash it out, which as for me with 4c hair was very confusing because I only wash my hair once a month. Its safe to leave in if you have hair like me! Its a very thick oil, but its AMAZING FOR HAIR GROWTH! I've been using castor oil on my natural hair journey for a while so it amazing. I'm very happy with my purchase, and I hope I helped someone like me!
