Delicious minimally-processed organic cocoa
This is very good minimally-processed cocoa/cacao. One thing to remember is that cocoa is like coffee in that the less it is processed, the MILDER the flavor. So this cocoa/cacao, versus "common" cocoa powder, is like the difference between a gently-roasted coffee, even a Kona, versus a grocery-store "French Roast". So, for those who are moving to this minimally-processed cocoa from the heavily-processed cocoa, yes, at *first*, it seems a little bit "weak". But as you continue sipping, you start picking up the subtle and more-complex flavors. Some people do prefer stronger flavors, so if you're one of them, you might not be too wild about this. But if you like the flavor of less-heavily-processed foods, I bet you'll like this a lot! Also, since it is less processed, it retains more of the beneficial antioxidants and so on, And yeah, it's organic ;) OH, I almost forgot - one reviewer was dissatisfied because it left a "residue" in the bottom of his coffee cup. Well, actually, ANY coco does that, because all cocoa is basically "cocoa-bean-flour", much like powdered cinnamon is "tree bark flour", meaning, it is not soluble like a "powdered drink mix" would be. Hot liquid does *extract* some of the flavors, same as it does with cinnamon or ground coffee beans, but cocoa itself is not soluble. I hope that clears up any confusion ;)
