This tree is pretty nice for the price. We donated our last plastic tree and this is our first pre-lit tree. The picture looks a lot fuller than it is, but there are tricks to make it appear somewhat fuller. Because I am an American male, I choose not to read directions or get guidance. Faster is better- I mean why would I want to spend time with my family decorating a tree like it's some kind of a tradition? After awkwardly, yet quickly putting it together, it looked more and more like a Charlie Brown tree. My wife suggested we watch the online video on National Tree's website. Layer by layer is the correct way. Fluff like a professional fluffer. I am very happy with the tree.
