Awesome!
I have taken Serrapeptase off and on for about 8 yrs. I'm almost 68 yrs young. About 8 yrs ago, I started having severe muscle pain all over my body. So severe, every movement was agony and I could barely get out of bed on my own. I do not run to the doctor, because I don't trust them and I refuse to take the drugs they are so eager to dispense. Instead, I reasearched my problem and found that I probably had fibromyalgia. Further research into a natural cure brought me to Serrapeptase. I never begin any supplement with the full suggested dosage, even if it's one pill/day, because you don't know how your body will react to something new and starting slow will get the body used to it gradually. I started out with 1 - 40,000 SPU capsule every other day for a week, then 1 capsule every day for a week. I continued adding one capsule per day until I was taking 3 per day. The following week I doubled the amount and was taking 2 capsules 3x a day. By this time, the pain had already lessened a bit. After taking 2 capsules 3x a day for a month, the pain was completely gone. Serrapeptase vs Lyrica? Only one choice when you consider the possible major side effects of Lyrica. I now take 1 - 120,000 SPU capsule 3x per day and 1 regular strength Nattokinase capsule 2x per day. Ever since I could remember, every blood test I had showed high bad cholesterol, low good cholesterol. The last blood test I had, (september 2016) which was actually the first since I started taking Serrapeptase, everything was perfect. I have a son who had begun to experience pain in his shoulder and foot, so I bought him a bottle of the 40,000 SPU Serrapeptase. Unfortunately, I told him that you can't overdose on Serrapeptase, but didn't advise him to start out slow. After taking two doses, he quit because he said it was upsetting his stomach really bad. I then explained about starting any supplement slowly, building up to the amount that works for him. He did and is now taking the 120,000 SPU capsules without any problems. This is why I am posting this review. There are so many reviews about Serrapeptase making people sick. Sometimes the body just needs to gradually get used to something new. I know some people can't tolerate certain supplements. For me it's olive leaf extract. Even the smallest amount makes me very sick, with severe stomach pain and vomiting. Serrapeptase is an awesome supplement and I hope people won't get turned off of it because of the bad reviews.
