I bought three of these for a home infrared sauna. Before ordering I checked a few other brands of 250W infrared bulbs at Lowes, Home Depot, and Wal-Mart. These are of noticeable better quality. Definitely more weight to them and thicker filaments. And if you are also building and infrared sauna, I definitely recommend the red over the clear. A clear 250W buld is pretty blinding. Plus the warm red/orange light + the heat makes you feel like you are instantly on a hot beach. Of course 20 minutes later you are sweating your butt off but that's why I purchased them.
