This is hardly a flash light. Yes it lights up, but it flashes on and off and doesn't have an option to use it as an actual flash light. It's incredibly frustrating for my toddler, who loves using flashlight as they are intended, in the dark and to look into dark places. This toy is too busy lighting on and off and talking than actually staying lit for more than a few seconds. I don't knw why they would make this without the option to turn the light on and use it as a flash light. It would probably also be bad if a young child had epilepsy to use this toy. If I would have known it didn't offer the option to be an actual flash light, I would have continued shopping and not purchased this product.
