I like this product, now that I have finally figured out how to use it. Here is how you do it: 1. If you're holding the gun in your hand, there is a little white plastic piece that sticks out. Turn it so that it sticks out (horizontally). 2. The needle is in a protective case, on the cord. Squeeze the trigger while putting the needle on the sharp pointy thing that sticks out (which I thought for a long time was the needle). 3. Turn the little plastic thing vertical. It has to be in this position in order for the needle to be placed in the gun. 4. Remove the needle cover. 5. Load the barbs into the top. The side of the barbs that has the extra ridge fits into the top of the gun. I thought I heard a slight click after that. The barbs will just stick out of the top until they are used. 6. Pierce the two pieces you want to attach with the needle and squeeze the trigger. Done! I hope that makes sense and helps at least a little.
