OK, So I buy this scale it looks and works great. I'm very happy with my purchase. I have a small problem with the batteries. I figure OK I'll call and see how their customer service responds. I fully expect the standard half hour hold and then someone who I either can't understand or who is surly and wishes to get rid of me as soon as possible. What happens next is surreal. The phone is picked up on the third ring and I'm talking to the owner of the company. He's very pleasant, knows his product, solves my problem and is bending over backwards to please me. By far the best customer service experience I've ever had. So guess who just earned themselves a lifelong customer. As far as the scale goes, it works well and is easy to read even with a large bowl on it. I checked the accuracy with some standard weights and it's pretty much dead on and its repeatable. It's exactly what I thought it would be. P.S. Thinking that I may have been hallucinating about the first call, I called back a second time. I had the exact same experience.
