This is the perfect affordable solution for those who have to work on a laptop or computer off of Wifi, but do not get a strong signal. I do my homework for college in the basement of our house, and have always struggled with my two laptops not staying on the Wifi. I bought this, and easily installed the drivers using the provided CD (I believe that there is an option to download the drivers from the internet if that is necessary). Both of my devices now not only work much better on our original network, but also now work on our 5G Wifi network, which was not accessible at all prior. Another benefit to this is that you can use the built-in Wifi chip to connect to a wireless printer and use this one to connect to the main network. It works amazingly well!
