Easy to setup and use
Things to consider before ordering:
*Ccount how many windows you plan to use the rings on, then multiply that by 14 to figure out how many rings you will need. (6 windows = 84 rings).
* Generally a window's curtains will require 7 rings per side if you match where their built in loops are, so that's 14 rings per window. you can fudge this a little to make the quantity of rings work, but too few rings and your curtains will be really saggy.
Things to consider before ordering a specific size:
- Measure the girth of your rod to make sure the rings will fit over it.
- measure the distance from the wall to the rod. the distance from wall to rod needs to be at least half of the full width of the rings, otherwise you risk the rings rubbing up against the wall.
(if ring is 1.5", and the distance from wall to edge of rod is 3/4", the rings should not be able to rub against the wall).
The clasps feel very strong for being so small.
I use these on heavier blackout curtains and have had no issues.
PROS:
+ cost effective
+ black rings match just about anything
+ very strong and easily supports heavier curtains like blackout curtains.
CONS:
- only the smallest purchasable set is available in a proper amount for 1 window (a multiple of 14)
- rings in bulk are not sold in logical amounts (sorta like Hot dogs and Buns). example: At 14 rings per window (7 per curtain side), if you buy a 40 pack you'll be 2 rings short for 3 windows, or 12 rings extra for 2 windows.
